The Artist’s Handbook Equipment Materials Procedures Techniques

In this handbook, I have tried to convey something of the pleasure and excitement that the materials and techniques of art can generate. I have concentrated for the most part on two-dimensional work, including drawing, painting, printmaking and digital image manipulation. But the book is also wide-ranging in its scope, encompassing many areas of the applied arts, including traditional areas such as stained glass or ceramic tiles and more recent materials such as laminates and vinyl.
