In line with the principal intention of ILMIA to promote a broader understanding of labour market developments in Malaysia, I am pleased to share the most recent results of our work programme through these three reports on the manpower requirements of the Sabah Economic Region, Iskandar Malaysia and the Northern Economic Corridor Region. Since its establishment in 2012, ILMIA’s work activities have revolved around labour market issues related to workplace institutional settings, the main elements and structure of the workforce, wider dissemination of labour market indicators, as well as labour supply and the Cities and Economic Corridors Initiative under the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
