Since the previous publication of this book, a number of important changes have taken place that affect the auditing profession. This edition of Auditing and Assurance Services in Malaysia is updated to incorporate those new developments and changes in the audit environment that are important to the learning of auditing. The emphasis of the text is still on the audits of financial statements, in particular, those required under the Malaysian Companies Act, 1965.
