Blacksouls (Blackhearts)

Blacksouls is a young-adult historical fantasy / romance, a sequel to Blackhearts. It follows Edward “Teach” Drummond and Anne, whose destinies become intertwined amid danger, betrayal, and upheaval in the Caribbean. After daring voyages and perilous journeys, Teach faces moral choices and conflict while leading men under threat, and Anne arrives in Nassau only to find corruption, lawlessness, and divided loyalties. Their paths converge on a dangerous mission that tests both love and loyalty, set against the backdrop of 17th-/18th-century piracy, colonial intrigue, and harsh truths.
