This Sixth edition of Consolidated Financial Statements has been written with the aim of keeping the materials up to date with the current developments in financial reporting principles and accounting standards on group accounts promulgated by leading professional bodies. The revised FRS 101, Presentation of Financial Statements, introduces a new format for presenting financial statements and this includes a statement of financial position and a statement of comprehensive income. Thus, the materials in this text have been updated to reflect these new statements.
